Montreal is one of 3 regions in Quebec where we have a red alert for over a month, so no going to other peoples' homes, face coverings at public places, schools are hybrid classes, (some in school some days online learning), hope these limitations are lifted for Christmas.

There is finally some talk of closing the schools down for a month and extending the school year form June to July next year, our infection rate is going up too fast. I support this idea. I have heard some say let's close extend the Christmas closure for a month into January but that is a dumb idea, if you are going to close do it sooner not later.

See this is what never made sense to me. You either close everything down of not parts of society.
