I looked this up only reason to say type 1 is worse is because you have it form birth and it affects your organs sooner than when you get type 2 later in your life.

This seems logical the longer you have it the more harm it can cause

Probably extended release that's why once a day with a meal, the meal part is so the stomach does not get irritated.

Obviously if they are on meds they can not drink alcohol, and all rinks break down to sugars, that's tough man.

There are non-alcohol wines but their sugar level is horrendously high, I drink 0% alcohol Becks tastes just like the eel thing, I have tried a few different brands of beer none tastes this close to the alcohol one.
