Jesse Ventura might be on the ticket for the Green Party, this will make the campaign season fun to watch.

I have never seen an election were the challenger to the incumbent president seeking a second term say so little and do so well in the polls. Yes polls are not always accurate hell in 2016 most predicted a landslide victory for Hilary Clinton, but this guy Biden is starting a new way to campaign. Do nothing, stay indoors and you'll go up in the polls lol, good for him. At this point I think the only hope in hell Trump has to get re-elected is if he goes on camera and says the pandemic is not over, it's getting worse and acts like he cares what happens. Saying we are not going to shut down again or it's all okay is making him look bad with voters. I know why he's trying to downplay the Coronavirus outbreak so businesses open up and school get back on track so he can claim all is good. But no one in their right mind is buying it. They see the daily infection and death rates going up.

"Quinnipiac University's Wednesday poll gives former Vice President Joe Biden his best chances yet of winning the 2020 presidential election.

Voters back Biden over President Trump 52 percent to 37 percent, up from 49 percent to 41 percent from a month ago, the national poll shows. And while things can drastically change in the next 16 weeks, "this is a very unpleasant real-time look" at Trump's probable future, Quinnipiac University polling analyst Tim Malloy says.

A movement of independents to Biden's side is key to his new gains. They back the former vice president 51 percent to 34 percent, as opposed to a 43 percent to 40 percent split in Biden's favour last month. Meanwhile Trump's approval rating tanked six points from June, down to just 36 percent this month. Approval of Trump's handling of the economy has almost reversed, from 52 percent approval an 45 percent disapproval in June to 44 percent approval and 53 percent disapproval in July. Voters narrowly say they now believe Biden will handle the economy better than Trump."

Have you read Mary L Trump's book? It's a page turner, finished it in one day. I never thought much of trump, i never was an apprentice watcher, and I remember him from his early days when I lived on the east coast. Lots of hype and no substance. If you get a chance, read the book. Hardcover is on backorder but you can get kindle version on amazon now. There's free apps if you don't have kindle.
