The Coronavirus / COVID-19 Thread (Keep all related posts here)
2 doses is when you can hope to be safe, 0ne is not enough, this is the general consensus.
Is there any study that forecasts when this pandemic will end
all the studies have turned out to be inaccurate, last year in january they were saying if we do not implement these lock downs and shit 200K people will die, well look how many have died so far.
We are open for business come June 15th in California. The best news in a year and a half, we can go back to life as it was pre-January 2020.

Good news after a rough 202.

Vaccines do work see how fast we are getting back to normal with people getting vaccinated against this Coronavirus.
masks were not needed then they were now if you have been fully vaccinated you can ditch them, not sure what to think.
are people dumb to not want the vaccine , every day I see some new story where they are offering raffles, contests, giveaways to people who get the shot. It is to save your life go fucking get it.

Whatever it takes to get most people the vaccine so this disease goes away, it is money well spent. Think of the cost it takes to put people in hospital for weeks...

Major news story about the virus being man made in the Woohan lab in China, not sure what to believe but from day one I have been open minded as to the origin of the Coronavirus.
"An explosive new study claims that Chinese scientists created COVID-19 in a Wuhan lab, then tried to cover their tracks by reverse-engineering versions of the virus to make it look like it evolved naturally from bats.
The paper's authors, British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen, wrote that they have had 'prima facie evidence of retro-engineering in China' for a year - but were ignored by academics and major journals.
Dalgleish is a professor of oncology at St George's University, London, and is best known for his breakthrough creating the first working 'HIV vaccine', to treat diagnosed patients and allow them to go off medication for months.
Sørensen, a virologist, is chair of pharmaceutical company, Immunor, which developed a coronavirus vaccine candidate called Biovacc-19. Dalgleish also has share options in the firm.
The shocking allegations in the study include accusations of 'deliberate destruction, concealment or contamination of data' at Chinese labs, and it notes the silencing and disappearance of scientists in the communist country who spoke out. "

The curfew was over Friday night but I believe people are so used to being home by that time that there has been no traffic on my road. It never is busy at night but you used to see the odd car not for the past 2 nights.

I guess the 9.30pm until 5am curfew was working, we were at 208 new cases on Monday, Tuesday we were at 288. The change was the curfew being lifted Friday and restaurants could open up out door dining.

It baffles me why people are not getting their vaccines.
