Is this a blonde question?

Last time I checked, at least if you're using Cpanel, you used to be able to do that, but they took out that feature because now it's incompatible with AutoSSL, also since you don't need to have separate certs anymore for each subdomain because of and extension of TLS called SNI.
I'm sure there are ways to do it, though, if you need it.

Where in CPanel do you see that option?
Wonder why they deleted it
Some people can be Dumb and Dumber
This I have never noticed in cpanel.

I never did that one. If not within cpanel I bet you'll be able to get it done via putty and pointing the sub dns.

If you are not sure of the commands do not even mess with putty you can do a lot of bad things to the sites.
Just get a cheap vps and play around with it. Safe way to learn without causing destruction. Destroy and rebuilt it as often as you like. different freebie control panels, etc. It's risk free learning. You can get an unmanaged vps from my host for as little as $12 for a year. I splurged and got the $25/year when I did it. Worked like a charm.
The offer is a little tricky to find. Go here and place a product (doesn't matter what) into your cart. Then within the cart look for the product selection drop down menu. Change your selection to "SSD Linux VPS (Special Offers)". Now you'll see vps offers for $1, $1.67, $2.08 per month. These plans are sold on an annual basis, $12, $20, $25 are what you'll be charged based on your selection.

why would you need to do that?
what if you are not very good at cpanel like me, you can email your host to do it.
