JUNETEENTH day

June 19th 1865 was when Abraham Lincoln abolished slavery in our country. That is 155 years ago, can you believe there was slavery just 155 years ago, a sad mark on humanity.

Wasn't June 19th the day they told slaves in Texas that slavery was abolished? 2.5 years after it happened. Now that's fucked up.
